Acceptable Use Policy

To keep Selyct safe and legal, certain items and behaviours are not allowed.
Prohibited items
- Illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, hazardous materials.
- Stolen, counterfeit or misrepresented items.
- Recalled products or anything failing safety standards.
- Adult content, animals, human remains, or anything otherwise restricted by EU or local law.
- Items violating intellectual-property rights.
Prohibited behaviour
- Fraudulent activity, scams, fake tracking, fake disputes, identity fraud.
- Off-platform transactions to avoid fees or buyer protection.
- Message-based scams (e.g. phishing, payment redirection, "off-app" payment requests).
- Sharing or harvesting personal contact details.
- Platform abuse: scraping, automated abuse, circumventing rate limits.
- Account farming: creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, manipulate trust, or evade bans.
Sanctions and global compliance (placeholder)
Selyct complies with applicable sanctions regimes (EU, Irish, UN and others as required). Members in sanctioned jurisdictions or appearing on relevant sanctions lists may be blocked from registering, transacting or receiving funds.
Enforcement
Violations may lead to listing removal, account restriction, suspension or ban, and may be reported to authorities where appropriate.
This is a draft policy published during Selyct's beta. Final terms will be reviewed by legal counsel prior to full public launch.
